The following jobs are executed in the Transmission System Regional Control Division:

coordination and improvement of work in the Regional Dispatch Centers (RDC) – there are six RDC located in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kruševac, Valjevo, Bor and Obilić.

analysis of the power system operation in the part under a RDC competence

preparation of technical rules

The Regional Dispatch Centers perform the following tasks:

organization of works to be executed in the transmission network (approval of requests for intervening works, opening and closing of permissions for work, conducting of necessary manipulations);
remedy of disturbances;

monitoring of power system operation and voltage regulation in the part under competence of the regional dispatch centers;
constraints in electric energy supply;

acquisition of data necessary for power system planning and operation analysis, preparation of reports about power system and transmission network operation in the part under competence of the regional dispatch centers, assistance in preparation of technical rules;

issuance of a permit for disconnection of the group IV facilities
