The above objectives are achieved owing to 90 high-voltage substations with the total installed capacity of 15.840 МVА, interconnected by 110 kV, 220 kV and 400 kV power lines whose length is 9.864 кm.

Along with the market placement of the produced electric energy, as well as the entire energy exchange and transit, during 2006, 45.834 GWh was transmitted with losses amounting to 2,75 %.

In order to execute its tasks as efficiently as possible, the Electric Energy Transmission Department is organized on the regional basis. The electric energy transmission at the territory of Serbia is performed in the Regional Transmission Centres.
