ENTSO-E to hold regional workshops on the Ten-Year Network Development Plan and Regional Investment Plans 2012

ENTSO-E will hold regional workshops with stakeholders between 29 November and 15 December 2011 in preparation for the next release of the Ten-Year Network Development Plan (TYNDP) and the Regional Investment Plans (RgIPs); due to be published in June 2012. The workshops will focus on the methodologies for the TYNDP & RgIP 2012 development and the preliminary results at regional level.
The aim of these workshops is to introduce and discuss the TYNDP and RgIPs development process and the assessment of regional projects of pan-European relevance including:
- TYNDP & RgIPs development process;
- Main challenges and specifics for grid development in each region;
- Identification and assessment of all candidate projects of European relevance;
- Preliminary results of the Regional Investment Plan under the TYNDP;
- Anticipation of Energy Infrastructure Package implementation.
A further reminder will be published closer to the date of each workshop.
In addition, an information session will be held on the draft European Code on Connection Requirements for Generators at the workshops in the Continental South East Region and the Baltic Sea Region focusing on:
- The network code development context;
- The present status and work program of the generator code development;
- The scope of the code in terms of Cross-border Issues and Significant Users;
- Approaches on retro-active application and cost-benefit analysis.

Continental Central South Region: Stuttgart, 7 December 2011
Continental Central East Regional Group: date and location to be confirmed
Continental South East Region: Zagreb, 12 December 2011, this workshop will also cover the Network Code on Grid Connection Requirements for Generators
Baltic Sea Region: Stockholm, 14 December 2011;this workshop will also cover the Network Code on Grid Connection Requirements for Generators
